I was born in Germany, raised in Nigeria, and later moved to Ireland. Each place has influenced my sound, my style, and how I express myself through both music and fashion.
StarSpillz: Your journey started at a very young age. When did you first realize music was something special to you?
Tolu Rabbie: Music found me early. Growing up in Nigeria, I was surrounded by children’s and youth choirs, and that environment sparked something deep in me. Singing became more than just a hobby it was a way to express emotions and connect with people.
StarSpillz: You’ve lived in several countries. How have these different cultures influenced your artistry?
Tolu Rabbie: Each country added a layer to who I am. Nigeria gave me rhythm, soul, and passion. Ireland helped me refine my sound and take my craft seriously. Germany is part of my roots. All these experiences come together in my music and fashion it’s a blend of worlds.
StarSpillz: Speaking of fashion, you studied fashion design at LIT Art College. How does fashion connect with your music?
Tolu Rabbie: Fashion and music are inseparable for me. They’re both forms of storytelling. Fashion allows me to visually express the emotions and messages behind my music. When people experience my art, I want them to see and feel it, not just hear it.
StarSpillz: You started recording and developing your sound seriously in Ireland. What was that phase like for you?
Tolu Rabbie: It was a period of growth and discovery. I spent a lot of time recording, learning, and understanding my voice not just technically, but artistically. That time helped me define who I am and what I want my music to represent.
StarSpillz: Your fans seem very important to you. How would you describe your relationship with them?
Tolu Rabbie: My fans mean everything to me. They’ve supported me through every stage of my journey. Their encouragement inspires me to keep evolving and pushing myself creatively. I see them as part of my story.
StarSpillz: What message do you hope listeners take away from your music?
Tolu Rabbie: I want people to feel seen, inspired, and free to be themselves. My music is about growth, identity, and embracing your journey, no matter where it takes you.
StarSpillz: Finally, what can we expect next from Tolu Rabbie?
Tolu Rabbie: More evolution, more creativity, and deeper expression. I’m constantly working on new ideas, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next with the world.
