Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Taking to his Instagram Stories on Friday (April 3), Rozay, who is currently on tour in Europe, told his followers in a video that he doesn’t like the reported situation for either side.
“Guwap most definitely didn’t deserve that,” Rick Ross told fans, speaking from inside his hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. “And I don’t want to see this for the little homie, Pooh Shiesty. But this one, n***as got to be educated and understand. In business, you got to negotiate, my n***a. You got to negotiate. If you were signed for $100K and now you got $10Ms on the table, it’s time to negotiate.”
Ross continued: “That’s how it got to go, my n***a. You can’t muscle your way out of no shit and no business. It don’t go that way. And I ain’t just talking about on the people’s side, but on the other side, the blitz going to come. You can’t run from it, homie. That’s the way it goes. Negotiate. It’s time to educate.”
Rozay then spoke on how he wants to see “the South win,” and mentioned how he once got Yo Gotti and Guwap on the phone together, likely when the two rappers were beefing.
“It was no disrespect,” he explained. “It was no raised voices. Rozay just wanted to plant that seed. And I understand one phone call may not fix all the situations, but you want to plant that seed. Where n***as may be able to move forward one day, get some paper one day. The CMG 1017 tour one day. That was Rozay mindset. And I wish none but my homies the best.”
This week, news surfaced that Shiesty and eight co-conspirators, including his father, Lontrell Denell Williams Sr., were charged with kidnapping and robbing “numerous victims at a music studio in Dallas, Texas,” and could face life behind bars.
In January, the nine suspects are claimed to have traveled to Dallas to kidnap and rob several people under the premise of a business meeting. In the criminal complaint, obtained by Complex, one of the victims appears to be referred to as “R.D.” (Gucci Mane’s legal name is Radric Davis). Shiesty was previously signed to the Atlanta rapper’s record label, 1017.
According to authorities, Shiesty forced the “R.D.” to release him from a business contract at gunpoint. Shiesty’s co-conspirators also allegedly stole from “R.D.” and others at the studio. It seems police used Apple AirTags to track the stolen items, leading to the suspects’ arrests.
